Is your BBQ sauce gluten free?
Transparency is key in everything we do, and we want our community to have all the facts. While our BBQ sauce is made with gluten-free ingredients and crafted with strict manufacturing practices, we want to be fully upfront:
Our sauce is produced in a shared facility that may handle gluten-containing products. Though we take every precaution—using dedicated pots and utensils—we can’t 100% guarantee a gluten-free environment at this time.
Until we have our own facility and achieve official gluten-free certification, we choose to err on the side of caution. Your trust means everything to us, and we remain committed to delivering the highest quality products with integrity.
What kind of pots do you use?
Because Quality Matters – We only use stainless steel pots.
In our kitchen, every decision is made with care, even down to the pots we cook in.
We choose high-grade stainless steel because it simply does the job right, every single time.
Why it matters:
• Non-Reactive: Stainless steel never messes with the natural flavours of our sauce. No metallic aftertaste—just pure, bold flavour in every bite.
• Clean & Safe: It’s naturally resistant to bacteria, which means it keeps things clean and safe throughout the whole cooking process.
• Made to Last: It’s tough, long-lasting, and dependable, just like our commitment to you and your family.
At the end of the day, when you’re trying to make the best sauce, you have to use the best tools. That’s what we believe, and it shows in every bottle.
Where do you make your sauce?
We rent a beautiful class 5 kitchen in Moncton, NB. We keep a log of all our ingredients. We track which store every bottle goes to. We practice good manufacturing practices. We’ve shared a lot about our commitment to quality—our meticulous processes, our unwavering standards, and the passion behind every bottle. By now, you know we do things the Dunn Right way.
That commitment extends beyond flavour; it’s about trust. That’s why we’re proud to be Safe Food for Canadians licensed, ensuring every step meets the highest national standards. Because when it comes to your table, only the best will do.
In case you were wondering what a Safe Food For Canadians License is….
A Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) licence, issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), allows businesses to legally manufacture, process, handle, and distribute food in compliance with Canada’s food safety regulations.
With an SFC licence, a company can:
Sell food across provinces (interprovincial trade)
Export food internationally (some countries require proof of certification)
Ensure compliance with strict food safety standards under the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR)
Demonstrate a commitment to quality and safety, reassuring consumers and business partners
Work with major retailers that require suppliers to be officially licensed
It’s a mark of credibility and a key step in ensuring food safety from production to plate.
Dunn Right. Every time.
